Huawei's next smartphone says goodbye to Google
Huawei is launching its newest smartphone, the Mate 30. A key feature of the device is that it will not allow access to Google apps.
There is no way Apple can steal the market share of Huawei's 5g phone by a 4g phone.

As soon as Huawei gets it's own OS up to snuff over the next year or so and provides the SDK to India, you can bet it will have a burgeoning app store of it's own that will be pretty competitive with Android.

@Guang - you are right, but no Google eco system.

Actually Android is a clone of Java and Google was sued over the blatant copying of Java headers.
First of all Huawei phones are not cheap. Why would someone buy them when it has unknown processor, OS and apps? It will pretty much be China product.

Google Apps won't come PRE-INSTALLED but you can INSTALL them yourself. I think that's better because then you can pick and choose which apps you want.
But it is still using android apps
Huawei high-end phones now are priced higher than Apple's. Also, Apple news phones are not popular any more in China, as its newly released phones now are expected to be sold with decent discounts from the first day on China's mainstream online platforms.
Where is Apple's 5G phone?

Samsung and LG not saying goodbye to Google. I will buy Samsung.
I know Bestyesterday
I already bought one Mate 30. It is a little costly, but well worth it..great n sleek looking phone.
Huawei and all other Chinese tech companies should only rely only on parts and devices "Made in China by Chinese Firms" and to "Make China Stronger, More Prosperous and Greater Again"

Huawei phone, a smart phone designed and made in china, enough said
But it’s on Android so they’re not really saying goodbye.
I personally will not touch Huawei OS or apps. Huawei is not an option for me. There are many other Android options available in market to choose from
